Our Vision

A safe, healthy and child-friendly environment for the children everywhere, with measures for prevention of and redressal for abuse and exploitation of children.

Thematic Objectives:

  • Develop a comprehensive approach to child protection through the integration of child protection, mental health and psychosocial care into existing child protection systems in the country.

  • Strengthen knowledge and skills of child protection functionaries in protection, mental health and psychosocial care, so that care and protection interventions are delivered in ways that ensure children’s mental health and well-being.

  • Integrate child and law issues into protection and mental health interventions, so that child legislations ensure the safety and best interest of vulnerable children.

  • Undertake action research and studies in child protection with a view to enhancing interventions, and assistance, programs for children and adolescents, as well as for informing child policy and law.

Who we work with?

We work with broad range of child protection functionaries working within the Child Protection System at all levels and civil society organizations across the country. Our routine training and capacity building programs serve state child protection functionaries, such as child care institution staff, counselors, probation officers, superintendents, house parents, and District Child Protection Office personnel, such as Legal cum Protection Officers and Social Workers.
